Speaqua x The Rolling Stones with Gabriel Novis

Audio brand Speaqua Sound has released a quirky short film with Gabriel Novis, promoting its limited-edition speaker collection in collaboration with the Rolling Stones. The film takes viewers on a lively journey through the streets of New York, following a young skateboarder, all set to "Angry," the lead single from the Stones' latest studio album, Hackney Diamonds.

“The idea behind the spot was to capture the timelessness of the Stones’ music,” explained Novis. “We shot it on 16mm film using one of my favorite cameras, the Aaton, to recreate the handheld, gritty feel of City of God, my all-time favorite movie. The goal was to make it look like it could have been filmed in the 80s or 90s, adding a sense of nostalgia. I also wanted the spot to feel iconic, much like the Stones themselves—one of my favorite bands. It was an incredible project to work on.”
